Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning is a tradition that allows us to lighten our loads and tidy up in all the areas of our home and what better way to get you there than with better-for-you items! Companies are listening to consumer feedback by using new technology for cleaning our everyday messes in lieu of hazardous chemicals.

Essential Oils

From diffusing, to adding to your mop water bucket, to making your own perfume or adding to your wool dryer balls there are so many different uses for essential oils. Look for 100% pure essential oil to be marked on the label and ingredients list.

Fragrance-Free Dish Soap & Washer Detergent

Tying right up to the first point of essential oils, fragrance free is all the rage right now with research surrounding the board with health claims. The FDA does not regulate “perfume” or “fragrance” directly since they are made up of multiple compounds but the individual components are tested and certified as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe). So pull out those essential oils if this is your jam and create a fresh scent.

Vinegar, Baking Soda, Lemon Juice

Ah the household staples that you probably already have stashed away in your pantry and cupboards. These timeless ingredients can be found in most cleaning products and can be used in just about anything.
