Cottage Cheese Guacamole

So cue this spin on a classic of adding cottage cheese to your guacamole. This nutrient dense spin adds calcium, vitamin D, protein, and lowers the fat concentration while still keeping a deliciously thick chunky texture. Try using a bean based chip for the same delicious crunch but with the added benefit of more protein and fiber. Or keep it light and use mini sweet peppers, cucumbers, carrots or celery.

 How It’s Made:

Strain cottage cheese.

Slice and roughly mash avocado.

Dice cilantro, onion, tomatoes.

Mince jalapeno.

Combine all ingredients by folding gently.
