Lion’s Mane

Lion’s mane mushrooms look like white pom-poms. They are big, white mushrooms that resemble a lion’s mane (hence the name). They have culinary, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics applications. They are used in Asian countries such as Korea and China. Lion’s mane mushrooms may be beneficial as it helps improve brain function and fights depression. They are rich in oligosaccharides and obtain antioxidative and antitumor activities. They also exhibit immune-stimulating functions, all of which combine to lower inflammation.
