National Hummus Day

Hummus is one of those foods great for smearing on a savory breakfast sandwich all the way to having it with strawberries as dessert. That’s right! The hummus category has come a long way since it’s humble and scrumptious beginnings and we want to hop in on the fun of National Hummus Day to bring you some delicious facts:

  • Hummus originated from Egypt
  • It’s rich in B vitamins
  • It’s a pretty well rounded plant-based protein with 8g per 3.5 ounces
