Waffles are a staple in our freezer. Of course we can go the extra mile and make something homemade but there are moments we love to have quick and convenient options at our finger tips for those mornings when we just need a break from parenting or adulting to the max. Timesavers like this are a must-have in our nutrition arsenal. These are our top three favs!

 

O Organics Homestyle Waffles

We love these waffles for our little ones. For one waffle, it’s about 14g of carbohydrate, 1g of fiber, 2g of protein and 150 mg of sodium. This is an excellent way to incorporate a new texture onto the breakfast plate for them while lowering the work on your part.

 

Kodiak Cakes Waffles

From thick and fluffy to power flapjacks to adventure waffles for kids, Kodiak has an array of flavors and textures in their frozen selection and we like to select the plain waffles, since they have 3g of fiber and 12g of protein and are able to be topped with whatever flavor we choose from syrups to fruit

 

Vans Gluten Free Waffles

For our gluten free friends these waffles make the top of our list, and with their flavor and texture. They are also dairy and egg free and contain 28 g of carbohydrate per serving.
